Week 4- Feb 28th

California so far is pretty darn great! my first area is the pauba ward and the temecula ysa branch in temecula. This is a great first area. There is a lot of service oppurtunities out here. The first night I was here we were out taliking to people. it was extremely nerv racking! the second night here i taught my first lesson, it was an awesome lesson and he wants to work towards being baptized it was so great. its weird to actually be teaching real people. This ward so far is way great. Sunday they asked me if i would bare my testimony in sacrament meeting so i did that, it was super cool. my companions way great hes teaching me so much! We live in an apartment with 2 other elders its way great. So the bike dad got me is so nice but i havent riden it yet because we have a full time car. yesterday it rained so hard and we were out cantacting in it for like an hour. we were soaked. every night a member family feeds us witch is so great i havent had to eat anything weird yet. the area im in is the second biggest in the mission. its so weird to finally be out here but im loving it! will you tell christian the kid i saw in the mtc was jeff mellbrook, please and thank you. when you send me packages will you send them priority mail so can actually get them, if theyre not sent that way i have to wait 6 weeks to get them. i need a couple things please and thank you, my scriptures, running shoes, more pictures and more cds please. every morning we have to run for 30 min its so great i actually like that rule. president cook is such a cool guy hes a great mission president! thank you for everything! have a good week I LOVE YOU!

We got a letter from Cody's mission president! He is serving in Temecula, California in a YSA ward :)

Leaves for California on Tuesday February 21st

Cody leaves the MTC exactly a week from today so if you were or are planning on sending him a letter or anything else you might want to do that soon. If you don't get it out to him save it and send it to him in California his address is on the right side -->>

Anyway I'm sure he would love to get letters! :)

Week 2- February 14th

Im doing great! i leave for california exactly a week from today.yeah i did get the package thank you. i actually need a couple more things, i need a new ctr ring i lost my other one. i think my size is 9.5 and i need mints and orange tic tacs, and a black scripture case like the one you got me for christmas. dorritos that would be great if you could get me those but it doesnt matter if you cant. thats so funny brother davis was there thats awesome you got to talk to them i actually have a letter from him in my room on my book case thing can you send it to me? ive talked to mkay a little bit it was good. im doing pretty good its very busy here trying to learn everything and be zone leader. my teachers are great! everyone in my district says hi. thanks for everything! LOVE YOU!
Yeah im still liking it here its really busy! being zone leaders been good. i got a box of doughnuts from audrey rupp that was way cool! the mtc is like nothing you could ever imagine it is so so busy lots of learning and eating. LOVe ya!

Week 1

Hey mom, life here is pretty darn great! i am learning so much! sunday was probably the coolest thing. it didnt really feel to much like sunday. this sunday i was actually made zone leader. its pretty cool. The people here are great my companions are way sweet. the teachers i have are so cool they are teachimg me so much! im pretty much loving this, amd im not even getting homesick. i actually got to give my companion elder risk a blessing it was so cool! the district im in is so great! love you! thanks for everything! oh i did get the packages
