Week 31- Sept 11

Thank you so much for that package! It was really awesome! That Family that you met was the Taylors, He is the ward mission leader here in the Pauba ward. They are such an awesome family!
That is so crazy that Austin is already 15! I cant believe it. You are going to have a house full of drivers here pretty soon. Those pictures of Austin running are so awesome! that is so cool that he is doing cross country! I wish i could come to one of his races, but the pictures will do! That is so sweet that he is slowly getting better. I remember my first year of xc it was really hard, but if he keeps it up he will get better! So how did the boys like the BYU game on Saturday? That is pretty awesome that they got to go! How is school going? Are the boys doing good?

This past week was a pretty disappointing week. Friday while we were doing our weekly planning we were planning for the baptism we were supposed to be having this coming Saturday. While we were planning we called the member that the investigator lives with to see when we could get over there to have a lesson and we found out that our investigator just got up and left, and come to find out he is living on the beach in Oceanside ansd there is no word on when he is coming back. So that was pretty disappointing to find out. Also that afternoon wew called another one of our investigetors to confirm the lesson for that night and she told us that she didnt want us coming over anymore to teach her or to visit her. So Friday was just a day of disappointment.

Yesterday we did some service for a member in the ward. We broke up 3 slabs of concrete and loaded it into a dump trailer. That was a ton of fun. I really like manual labor. The member we were doing service for owns his own company and last week while we were at his house he showed us some plans and we were talking about them and about all the work I did before my mission and he said that if I wanted to when I got done with my mission I could come back and be the Landscape architect for his company. It was a pretty awesome offer. Saturday was a busy service day like usual, we deep cleaned the church and painted a fence and cleaned a wood floor and move a weight set. It was a busy day, but I really like days like that. Thursday we did service out on the tree farm again, its always fun to go out there.

So next Tuesday is transfers and I am pretty sure I am leaving Temecula but I wont know until Saturday night so that is going to be interesting to find out. It is going to be a little disappointing to leave Temecula, I really like this area. But it will be cool to go to different places and meet different people. So for mail and packages just send them to the mission office from now on.

Love You!

Love, Elder RINDLISBACHER

Oh yeah I have an awesome story for you. 2 weeks ago in the San Diego temple there was a live baptism performed. There was a family who had been baptized a year ago and they were going to get sealed together but the Temple president noticed that one of the kids had just turned 8 and in order to be sealed he had to be baptized, so they did all the things they needed to and they got permission from Salt lake and the 8 year old was baptized for himself in the font in the Temple. I thought that was pretty awesome!
