On Christmas I believe I will be calling you, I'm not sure what time probably around afternoon time so just be prepared all day for the call. I am sure I will be skyping. I can't believe that it is already Christmas time, it doesn't feel like it at all. Everyone has their Christmas lights up and everything, but there's no snow. Today it is raining and it feels like spring time.
That is so awesome that there was another chili's night, how did that go? I did get the pictures from Christian they were pretty sweet. its so weird to see everyone, but it was way cool. That's awesome that Wyatt got a truck, what kind of truck is it? is he still working at discount?
So Everything is going pretty well around here. We are staying busy for the most part. All the people we are trying to teach want to meet at the beginning of the year, so January is going to be pretty busy. We have been doing a lot of the same stuff trying to find more people to teach. We have also been spending a lot of time with the members helping them with their missionary work. On Saturday I did another Baptismal interview, It was a good interview, but I couldn't finish it because the person answered yes to one of the questions so they have to talk to someone from the mission presidency to finish the interview. It was an interesting experience because I didn't know what to say but I opened my mouth and words came out, it was really cool. That's basically all that has been going on. Nothing to exciting. But I get to talk to you in 1 one! Have a great week! Love You!

Week 44- December 11 2012
Well I did not get transferred which is not a surprise. I think I am going to be here for a while longer, since my companion goes home a week after Christmas, that is going to be weird, I am probably going to be put into a tripanionship with some other Elders in the district.
Everything is going pretty good, it has been tough, because my companion is going home soon and he is slowing down. I fell like I am doing mostly everything and he's just there, but I am trying to help him with the last 4 weeks. We are staying busy for the most part. We have been doing a lot of visiting
. We still haven't been teaching to much, but it is starting to pick up. Last week we picked up a new investigator. We contacted her on the street and she said that she wanted to have us back so for 6 weeks we were trying to get over there, but ever time we did, she was never home. This past week we stopped by and we taught her about the Book of Mormon on her front porch and we gave her a copy and she said she was going to start reading it and we will hopefully be going back there sometime this week to have a more in depth lesson with her.
Friday night Ladera had like a huge town Christmas party thing. It was pretty intense, there was concerts and crafts and hot chocolate and Santa was there and they had a Christmas tree lighting it was quick the party. I'm pretty sure most of the town was there. It was pretty cool because we just walked around and talked to people and took pictures for other people. We definitely got noticed there. Saturday I did 2 baptismal interviews for the Zone leaders. Both of the interviews were just over an hour. I was definitely all talked out after that. It was cool to hear about their testimonies, and how they gained it. It is really cool to get to do that.
That's funny that you guys laughed at that picture, it was pretty funny. That's really cool that the Christmas party went well. Yes I did get a present from Bre, but I haven't opened it yet, I will get to it eventually, Probably on Christmas. Christmas is going to be a busy day, there have been so many families that have come up to us and invited us over. As of now we have a breakfast, lunch, and dinner appointment and one other visit. It is going to be a cool day.

Week 43- Dec 4
Everything is going pretty well. Don't worry about not sending me anything, emails are good enough. Whenever you get it sent is fine, I'm not worried at all. That is so cool that you guys all helped out with the fundraiser, its so great to see how much everyone is for them. That's pretty crazy that we got another new bishopric, but I knew it was going to happen, I even knew it was going to happen yesterday, Because I checked the ward bulletin online. That's a pretty cool new bishopric.
I can't believe it is already December time has just flown by, its incredible. I am excited for this month, because everything is centered around Christ and everyone is spending time with their family. There are some pretty cool things that we are doing to find people to teach. We are trying to share the Christmas story with everyone. Also the church is doing a Christmas campaign on Mormon.org/Christmas its pretty cool so we are sending people there also. you should check it out.
This past week has been pretty good, It has been a busy/slow week. We haven't been teaching to much so we have been doing a lot of visit and knocking empty doors. It has been a learning experience for me trying to find things to do. We have started to try to do things a little bit differently so hopefully things will come about from them. transfers is a week from today, but I think I will be staying here, but anything can happen so we will just have to see. My companion goes home just a couple weeks into the nest transfer so he is pretty close to being done, and you can definitely tell, he is ready to go.
Last week we helped a family move, so that was pretty fun, they didn't want to many people in the ward to hear about it so they called the Missionaries. They are a cool family. It was pretty funny, because they only moved up the street a little ways. on Sunday the husband of the family that was baptized a couple weeks ago passed the sacrament. It was so cool to see that. It has rained a little bit here the past couple of days so that was pretty fun to walk around in the rain. It has been pretty funny because when we talk with people they ask us if we are cold because its like 60 degrees and we are walking around in short sleeve shirts so we have to explain to them that we're from Utah and it feels good.
That's basically been the week nothing to exciting, but staying busy just workin along. Thanks for everything Mom! I Love You! Have a great week!

Week 42- November 27
Everything is going pretty good! We are staying busy for the most part! We haven't found anyone new to teach so we are still on the hunt. Thanksgiving was pretty good. The day was a really long day for working, but it was awesome to spend time with the members. We did eat a lot of food. It was great. It was so weird not being with the family tho, it just didn't seem like thanksgiving but I guess it was. The family we had dinner with was great, He is a plastic surgeon which is pretty crazy! He sews his turkeys up which was pretty awesome!
Saturday I did a baptismal interview for a girl being baptized this up coming Saturday those are always really cool it is great to see peoples lives change and how they gained their testimony. Being a district leader is really cool. Yesterday a member bought us lunch and they called it the Birthday lunch because they found out it was my birthday last week. For lunch we had, Cafe Rio. It brought back good memories of things back home. which was pretty cool. Sunday during church was pretty crazy, because during one of the musical numbers I was getting flash backs of my farewell. I don't even know why but it was cool to think back on the day. Last night we helped a less active family put up their Christmas lights. It was a lot of fun, I really like doing that. It was cool to because the missionaries always offered them help, but they thought they were just saying it to be nice so they never took them up on it but we were a little bold and told them that we were just going to do it and they ended up letting us. It was cool to see what happens when you are a little bold.
Today we had the opportunity to go to the Temple. We went to the Newport Beach Temple. It was so great. I love going to the temple! It was cool to get to go to a new temple. I definitely miss going every week but getting to go at all is great!
That is so cool everything that the ward is doing to help them! You guys sound pretty busy. let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Thanks for everything Mom! I Love You! I hope you have a great week!

Week 41- November 20
Don't worry about not sending me anything, it doesn't matter. I know that you were thinking about me and that's all that matters! it was a good Birthday no one new except a couple people knew it was my birthday. At dinner Saturday night some how the members found out that it was my Birthday so when we were having dessert they put a candle in the pie and they sung to me.
This past week was a great week. There has been a lot that has gone on. Friday we went down to Vista for mission conference. Elder Schweitzer from the second quorum of the seventy was there. We received a lot of great insight and a lot of things that we can do to be better missionaries. It was really cool. It was cool to get to meet him. Saturday night while we were out walking around making visits we were walking up the road and some kids threw oranges at us. Luckily none of them hit us but it was pretty random but funny.
Most of last week I was on exchanges with members of the district. Those are always really interesting. Its great to get to see how other missionaries work and to see things I can do to help them.
Since we had our baptism last week our investigator pipeline has basically become dry so we haven't been doing to much teaching, just a lot of finding.
This week is going to be an interesting week. It is going to be weird not being with the family for thanksgiving. That's pretty awesome that you guys are going up to Logan. That'll be fun. Tell everyone hi from me.
Thanks for everything mom! I love you and I am very grateful for you and dad every single day! You both have taught me so much and it has really helped me here on my mission. I hope you have a great week! Love You!

Week 40- Nov. 13th
Everything is going pretty good. We are staying fairly busy, but not teaching to much, we have been doing a lot of service and we have a lot of service planned for this up coming week. That's so cool that Janelle is going to Tennessee that would be an interesting mission. I've talked to a couple of people that served out there and they said it was a pretty cool mission. everything is going pretty well with the new companion, but it has been a struggle, but that's part of life.
This past weekend was so awesome! Friday night we had a baptism! We baptized the whole family! It was so awesome, Elder Satuala came down and baptized one of them. We had to have the beginning part with all the talks in the chapel, because there was so many people! Sunday was the primary program in the first ward and also the confirmations of the family it was a long meeting. Them getting confirmed was the coolest experience. After the husband was confirmed he was crying so much, it was so awesome to see how much he felt the spirit. Also in the primary program my companion and I sang in a quartet it was pretty cool! That's pretty much all the exciting stuff that has been going on.
I can't believe its already my birthday. I don't feel any older. Its pretty funny because no one knows that its my birthday so it will just be a normal day. That is so awesome that Brighton is open. I have seen some pictures of the snow and it has definitely made me miss it. It is still pretty warm around here.

Week 39- November 6
Everything is going pretty good. Its always interesting getting a new companion. My new companion Elder Schmidt is from Highland, Utah he has been out for about 22 months, so I will probably end up killing him. That would be 3 out of 4 that I have killed. It is going to be interesting working with him. I think it is going to be tough but it will be good. This past week has been an okay week. We weren't able to do to much teaching. I think we ended up teaching 6 lesson all week. We have been doing a lot of finding, but this is a tough area. We are still working hard and doing our best. We Have a couple solid potential investigators, but its just been pretty tough to get to meet with them but we are trying really hard.
Last Wednesday was an interesting day. We had District meeting in the morning and then we went out and worked until 6 then we had to go in for the night. It was pretty weird going in early but it was good, because I had a ton of stuff I had to get done. On Sunday since it was fast Sunday I was fasting to be able to find new investigators and Sunday night we got a call from a member and they said that they had a girl that wanted to take the lessons so we are setting something up with them and we will end up picking her up as a new investigator. It is so amazing how the Lord answers prayers and fasts.
That's so funny that dad was down here. On Sunday the member that works for the same company as dad came up to me and he was like I have a package for you. I was so confused but then I remembered. Thank you for it! That's pretty awesome that he went to Seattle and got to go to a Real game, that sounds Exciting. That's so cool that Grandpa is doing good I am glad to hear that.
That is so crazy about Kim, do they know what caused it all? That is so sad to hear I can't even believe it. I would have never thought that in a million years. How is Jim and the kids doing? Man I am so shocked right now, it doesn't even seem real.
I can't even believe that my birthday is coming up. I don't feel any older. In that package can you send me my black suit jacket please and thank you.
I hope you have a great week! Let the Milligans know that I love them and they are definitely in my prayers!
Love You!

Week 38- October 30th
This past week has been a good week! I have not yet gotten a new companion. We will be going down to vista this afternoon to transfer meeting and that is where I will find out who my new companion is so in next weeks letter I will tell you who it is. Its so crazy that this transfer is already over, It flew by so fast. Elder Satuala will be going home tomorrow. The district that I am in is going to be 50 percent new. 3 out of 6 of the missionaries are going home. That is so awesome that Michael got his mission call. that would be a pretty interesting mission.
This week has been a pretty good week. We have been pretty busy with elder Satuala leaving and everything. We have visited a ton of people and gotten a ton of pictures. We have been teaching a little bit, but not that much. A lot of our investigators are really busy so its pretty tough to visit them. The family that is going to be getting baptized is still going strong they are so solid. It is awesome, and their testimonies keep growing which is awesome. Saturday we helped a family move out of their house in the ward next to us into our ward. It is so incredible how quickly you can move a whole house out and in when there is a ton of people. We have been having a lot of lessons with members which are always pretty funny. Last night we had a lesson on the ten commandments with a family, it was a funny lesson because they all we calling each other out for the commandments they are breaking. The mornings and afternoons here are pathetic no one is home or out so it has been pretty tough trying to find things in the morning to do.
That's pretty awesome that grandpa is going back to work. Is he still in a sling? How is it healing? That's really awesome that Austin is doing good! Tell him to keep the good work.
That is so crazy that dad is down here. Is he in Carlsbad at those buildings? Thank you for the package. I hopefully will get it this afternoon depending on what time he drops it off. It is incredible that I have been out for 9 months. Time has just flown by I cant even believe it.
Thanks for everything Mom! I hope you have a great week, and hope your shoulder gets better. Love You!

Week 37- Oct 23
I am doing pretty well, this week has been a pretty good week. Nothing to exciting has gone on. We have just been doing a lot of finding. we have knocked on a lot of doors this past week and everyone is set in their ways which is disappointing. We have been having a lot of lessons with the members which has been pretty cool.
Sunday night we had a lesson with one of our investigators. She is in high school, and she goes to a christian school. It was a pretty interesting lesson. It was kind of like she wanted to bash with us but it wasn't really a bash which was good. We are pretty sure the people at her school are telling her what to say to us. She has a lot of random deep doctrine questions which is pretty lame because they pretty much don't matter. Friday night we set another baptismal date with another investigator for December 15. We will hopefully be moving the day closer but its awesome that she wants to be baptized. We are pretty slim on investigators, so basically all we have been doing is trying to find investigators but the area is so small that we keep going to the same places. We will hopefully be picking up a couple new investigators in the next week or so. Next Tuesday is transfers so we will see what happens. I cant believe it has already been 6 weeks. I know for a fact that next Tuesday I will be getting a new companion. My companion right now is going home. It will be interesting to run an area that I have only been in for 6 weeks. I am kind of nervous but I am just going to grab the bull by the horns and have a ton of fun doing it.
Love You!

Week 35- October 8 2012
Conference was so awesome! I love Conference so much! That was an awesome announcement. Its going to be so awesome to see how many 18 year old missionaries come out. That is definitely going to increase the numbers. I cant Believe girls can go at 19 now, that is really cool. That would have been pretty cool to have gone out when I was 18 but I know that I came out at the right time, the time the Lord needed me. Conference was really good, It is so awesome to be able to hear from the Prophet. Conference weekend is always a reboost to everything.
This past was a pretty good week. I have been a little bit stressed out, because I am still trying to figure everything out. I am pretty sure my plate was filled extra full super fast but I am slowly picking away at it, but I know that it is just a matter of time and doing it that I will figure it out. I have learned so much and I am still learning so much, it is incredible how much there is to learn.
There has been some pretty cool things that have happened this past week. Sunday night we got out of a lesson with some members, and we noticed that there was some people out in their drive way playing a game so we went over and talked to them. while we were talking with them they finished their game and were getting ready to start another one. They invited us to play with them. It was a sort of bean bag toss game so we said we could play a quick game. It was me and my companion against 2 of them. we started the game off pretty good, we noticed we were doing good so we said, If we win we get to take 10 min and share a quick lesson with you. Well we ended up winning and we went into their garage and started talking to them and they asked questions and about 45 min later we had a returning appointment to go back and teach them some more. It was so awesome. I Know that the Lord was helping us in that game. It will be interesting to go back and teach them some more. It was definitely a miracle. After that we went to dinner, dinner was with a less active and a non member and after dinner we carved pumpkins with them, it was pretty funny, I carved the angel Moroni and my companion carved Mormon.org it was pretty awesome. we are going to use them as a finding tool. we are starting to teach a little bit more which is definitely good I am starting to get more comfortable with it. Last night I had the chance to interview a girl from the ysa ward for baptism. It was so awesome to be able to interview her and get to hear her testimony and her understanding, It is really sweet the interviews are a lot of fun to get to do. I really like it.
Week 36- October 16 2012
Everything is going well, I am become less stressed out which is good, everything is getting a little bit easier, but it will never get completely easy. I don't think I am completely better, because I still don't feel good sometimes. But it has basically become normal so I don't really notice it to much. That is so sad to hear that he passed away. That is good that hes not sick anymore though and he is with his wife.
This past week we were able to meet those people we played that game with. We had a lesson with them on Friday night. The lady was wondering why we were there but her husband was really interested and wanted to learn more. So we ended up teaching them the Restoration and we invited them to read and pray about the Book of Mormon, and they both said that they would. It was so awesome because she was set that there was no other book, just the Bible but after our lesson they both were excited to read it. We will be going back a week from Friday to have another lesson so that is going to be exciting.
Wednesday night we went over to our investigators house to have a lesson and before we started we were answering some questions and when we were done answering their questions, the husband got up and stood behind his wife and said, " we have been thinking about it and we are ready." They want to be baptized! it was so awesome! it was such a miracle! That night we ended up setting the date and everything. They are going to be baptized on November 9. Its going to be so awesome they are such an awesome family! It will be 3 baptism so its going to be exciting. I am so excited! That is pretty much all the excitement from the week.

10/3/12 Picture.
Just wanted to share a picture of your cute boys with you! I'm the leader of the 8-9 yr. old Activity Days girls and we had an activity about service to our missionaries, both ones serving in our Ward and ones serving elsewhere from our Ward. The girls brought items to make a basket for them and we wrote them letters.
I'm a missionary mom as well, my son is serving in Angola, and pictures are rare because so many computers have viruses so they can't email any home so since I don't get many of my missionary I really wanted to share a picture with you of yours!

Week 34- October 2
This past week has been a pretty tough week, I have been sick for most of the week with a pretty bad cold, but we have been pushing along working as hard as we can. I think its the worst I have been sick in a long time. We havent been doing a lot of teaching so we have been trying to find people. Everyone here lives on top of each other. It is so incredible how many houses are here in such a small area. I have done a lot more tracting then I did in Temecula. Its always an adventure knocking on doors, because you never know what is going to be on the other side. We really havent done anything to exciting this last week. We did get a new Bishop in one of the wards, so it is going to be fun to work with him. We have been teaching but not to nuch, the stake is trying to push 21 lessons a week but everyone here is so busy and they dont have time for us. So we are doing what we can to get into peoples homes to teach.
That is so crazy that Jeremy is already leaving. It feels like he just got his call. That is so exciting is he ready to go? How was the farewell? That is pretty awesome that wyatt went to home coming. I am way proud of him and his grades! He is a stud! Its incredible how good friends make such a difference. Thats exciting that you guys are going down to st george. Its going to be really weird not going down there this year.Thats awesome that you got a raise, nice work!
We are staying so busy, there isnt any time to do anything, its been pretty tough.
Love You!

Week 33- September 25
Well I am in Orange County in Ledera Ranch by Mission Viejo. This is a really interesting area. I really dont like orange county. there is a lot of really rich people. The area I am serving in feels a lot like Disneyland all the houses are so close together and and everyone basically lives on top of each other. It is so crowded. The ward is pretty cool, but the people here are just so different. I really miss Temecula and the members there. My new companion is Elder Satuala from Bountiful, Utah. He is tongan. His parents came from tonga. He is an awesome Elder. The area that I am serving in is a part time car part time walk or bike. This is going to be really good, because I have the feeling I am going to loose some weight here. It has been really tough getting to know the new area. All the addresses her are really weird and all the weird street names, I think it is going to take me a little while. Being a district leader is going to be pretty exciting, but I am nervous. So far it hasnt gone to bad. Tomorrow is my first real district meeting and its going to be interesting on how that goes, with me giving trainings and all that fun stuff.
That is so awesome that Brother Anton sent that picture. I really miss all of the families in Temecula. The weather here is pretty much like it was in Temecula, pretty warm, but its not to bad. I really dont mind the warm weather. The New shoes that I have are really great they feel a lot better than the other ones, especially with all of the walking that we are doing.
That is so crazy that the Cross country season is almost over, it feels like it just started. Thats awesome that he went camping! I wish I could go camping, that sounds fun right about now. But thats okay being a missionary is pretty fun. Thats so crazy that st george is already coming up! It is so bizzar how fast time goes, it feels like we were just down there last year. Thats awesome that Austin and Christian went to the dedication. Is christian planning on going up to Canada for the open House or dedication? I believe thats in a couple weeks if I heard right. I have heard about BYU, but thats ok its a great year to miss watching football, also baseball. Both of the teams I like are doing pretty bad. We hear about all that stuff all the time.
So this morning we went golfing again. The golf course wasnt to nice but it was fun to go. The golf course was basically a little chip and putt course so I never pulled out the driver. It was a pretty good game of golf but not as fun as it was with Brother Natter. I definitely am going to come back here and do a little bit of golfing when I am done. The people here are not very nice at all. I was so shocked when I first got here and started walking around, everyone was pretty rude. Nothing like the Friendliness of Temecula. But hey it makes for some good stories. I have been so busy since I got here I havent had time to do anything. I am still unpacking all of my stuff. We have been getting up at 5;30 to have a little bit more time but it feels like there still isnt enough time to get everything done. One of my responsibilities as a district leader is to interview people to be baptized, and Saturday I was able to have my fist one. The lady I interviewed is 30 years old and she is from brazil, she speaks very little english so we had an inturpreter there in the interview. It was a pretty cool experiance to sit down with her and see where her testimony was it and she is super solid. It was funny because during the interview I felt like I was talking to the interpereter instead of the lady but it was a good interview. I am already liking this assignment it is going to be really fun. Everything is going well!

Week 32- Sept 18
Today probably is one of the hardest days of my mission. It is so hard to say goodbye to all the incredible people I have met here in Temecula. I am really sad to be getting transferred but I know it will be good. Temecula has been amazing. The Natters are such an awesome family! I am going to have to say that they are my favorite family! I am really going to miss them, along with everyone else. This morning we did go golfing! it was a lot of fun! I had a really good game, I shot like a 94 or something like that it was awesome! I do not know where I am going to be going yet, I will find out around 4 tonight and then from there I will head to the new area. I am really nervous. With this new transfer I have been asked to be a district leader. I am really nervous for that, because there is a lot of responsibility, but it will be good! I really do not like change but I know it is what the Lord wants and I know it will help me grow! It has been so hard to say goodbye, but I know that it is not forever. But I will definitaly miss it here.
This last week has been pretty crazy, we have been so busy. This last week we met 2 people that really wanted to bash with us, they both told us we were wrong and we were going straight to Hell. It was really funny. It makes for some pretty interesting storys. Friday last week we went down to a training in vista, for all the new District leaders it was a really good meeting! I learned so much, but there is still a lot to learn. It is going to be interesting having responsiblity and also being in a new area is going to be so weird! I am super nervous. It is so amazing how much stuff you collect in just 7 months. It was really crazy packing everything up.
Oh man I forgot to tell you, Last saturday we went out and helped a new family move in,. and when we showed up the dad that was moving in looked at my name and pronounced it perfectly the first time and we got talking about it and how he knew it and he said that He knows Rindlisbachers up in fresno and then we continued to talk about it, and come to find out his wifes sister Is Brittney Rindlisbacher, Richard, my cousins wife, it was so crazy to find that out, and richard was even going to be there. So I was sort of in a way related to the family we helped move in, it was pretty crazy!

Week 31- Sept 11
Thank you so much for that package! It was really awesome! That Family that you met was the Taylors, He is the ward mission leader here in the Pauba ward. They are such an awesome family!
That is so crazy that Austin is already 15! I cant believe it. You are going to have a house full of drivers here pretty soon. Those pictures of Austin running are so awesome! that is so cool that he is doing cross country! I wish i could come to one of his races, but the pictures will do! That is so sweet that he is slowly getting better. I remember my first year of xc it was really hard, but if he keeps it up he will get better! So how did the boys like the BYU game on Saturday? That is pretty awesome that they got to go! How is school going? Are the boys doing good?
This past week was a pretty disappointing week. Friday while we were doing our weekly planning we were planning for the baptism we were supposed to be having this coming Saturday. While we were planning we called the member that the investigator lives with to see when we could get over there to have a lesson and we found out that our investigator just got up and left, and come to find out he is living on the beach in Oceanside ansd there is no word on when he is coming back. So that was pretty disappointing to find out. Also that afternoon wew called another one of our investigetors to confirm the lesson for that night and she told us that she didnt want us coming over anymore to teach her or to visit her. So Friday was just a day of disappointment.
Yesterday we did some service for a member in the ward. We broke up 3 slabs of concrete and loaded it into a dump trailer. That was a ton of fun. I really like manual labor. The member we were doing service for owns his own company and last week while we were at his house he showed us some plans and we were talking about them and about all the work I did before my mission and he said that if I wanted to when I got done with my mission I could come back and be the Landscape architect for his company. It was a pretty awesome offer. Saturday was a busy service day like usual, we deep cleaned the church and painted a fence and cleaned a wood floor and move a weight set. It was a busy day, but I really like days like that. Thursday we did service out on the tree farm again, its always fun to go out there.
So next Tuesday is transfers and I am pretty sure I am leaving Temecula but I wont know until Saturday night so that is going to be interesting to find out. It is going to be a little disappointing to leave Temecula, I really like this area. But it will be cool to go to different places and meet different people. So for mail and packages just send them to the mission office from now on.
Love You!

Oh yeah I have an awesome story for you. 2 weeks ago in the San Diego temple there was a live baptism performed. There was a family who had been baptized a year ago and they were going to get sealed together but the Temple president noticed that one of the kids had just turned 8 and in order to be sealed he had to be baptized, so they did all the things they needed to and they got permission from Salt lake and the 8 year old was baptized for himself in the font in the Temple. I thought that was pretty awesome!

Week 30- Sept 4
I am doing really good. We have been staying pretty busy. We have a baptismal date set for the 15 of this month which is going to be really awesome. We just started teaching this guy about 2 weeks ago and last Wednesday we invited him to be baptized and he said yes, it was pretty sweet. We try to teach him 3 to 4 times a week depending which is awesome. He has some really bad back problems so he is on a lot of medication and it makes him kind of loopy which is really sad to see but it is amazing how the atonement works and how by faith we can be healed. This last week we have given a good amount of blessings which is really cool. It is so awesome to get to see the power of the priesthood work. Yesterday was an interesting day, we didn't have any lessons so we just went around looking for service to do and we ended up doing a good amount and we talked to a good amount of people. It is so ridiculous how summer basically ends and everyone stays inside. No one is ever out to talk to which is really disappointing. Last night we went and visited one of our investigators to see if we could set up a time to go back and have a lesson and while we were standing there Elder Goble asked for the guitar that they had and he started jamming out on it and then he made up a song about them coming to church. It was so funny.
Sunday, Elder Hanny from the 70 was in our ward here for church. It was pretty cool to have a 70 there. He was in our ward council and he helped make it better which was really awesome. Saturday we helped the Bishop paint his fence, that was pretty fun. the Bishop here is such a great guy, he is an awesome Bishop. It is so awesome how as a Missionary you basically have a free card to be awkward. Last week we went to visit a golden potential and we were talking with her in her front yard and her mom came out and we started talking with her and it was such an awkward conversation her mom really didnt like us being there. While we were talking we found out that she had grown up LDS but had some bad experiences. Her dad and step dad were both excommunicated and she didnt know that we believed in CHrist she thought we worshipped Joseph Smith. it was really weird, and we havent been back since which is disappointing. but we are going to keep trying. Oh and also while we were talking we asked about her husband and she said Jesus was her husband, it was just really weird.
Hope all is going well and I hope you have a great week!

Week 29- Aug 28
Sunday was pretty crazy! It was really weird to see him but it was really cool! I knew he was going to be in temecula, because I talked with his cousin that lives down here and he said he was coming down. I was really surprised. I was in the front of the chapel talking with some people and I turned around and saw some random guy sitting in my chair looking down reading my scriptures, I noticed the top of his head and I instantly new it was Jeff. Thats awesome that it made your day, did you see the picture? will you email me that picture?
Zone conference was really good, my brain still really hurts from it. We learned so much information, I think I took like 10 pages of notes. President Cook is such a great guy he taught us so much stuff it was incredible. The singing was pretty good, it was really weird doing it for the first time in front of a bunch of people.
So on Friday and Saturday I was on exchanges in a different ward and we were visiting a potential investigator family and while we were talking with the mom her daughter came home, and she had a friend with her. when we were about to leave the friend of the daughter said she had some questions and we stepped outside and talked with her on the front porch. we taught her about the Book of Mormon and about what a "mormon" is and we ended up giving her a Book of Mormon and downloading Gospel Library onto her phone. While all this was happening we were talking about where she lives and come to find out she lives in my area. So we gave her a chapter in the Book of Mormon to read, and we are going to her house tomorrow night to hopefully teach her. It was such a Miracle. It is so amazing how God puts us in the right places at the right times. Last Tuesday night we did a missionary activity for combined Mutual, it was such an awesome night the kids loved being missionaries and learning how to do things that you need to know while youre a missionary. At the end of the night we made pancakes for everyone and we played stump the missionaries. they ended up stumping us 4 to 3 it was pretty disappointing but it was really fun. I dont know if anything has happened with that lady, because shes not in my area, but I hope everything is going well with her, I am going to have to talk to the zone leaders and find out. We have a potential family of 5 that wants to meet with us so we are trying to set something up with them, they are really hard to get a hold of, but we are being persistant and we are going to do it. Our goal is to meet with them sometime the end of this week so hopefully it works out.
That is so awesome that austin learned how to wake board! When is the Temple up there being dedicated? That is so crazy that school is already starting, school started down here like 2 weeks ago. are the boys excited to be going back to school? Are you excited to be going back to work? Thank you so much for getting those things for me! Thanks for sending the scotcheroos. Everyone in the apartment really loves them! Did dad get the Birthday card that I sent? Thank you for everything Mom! I Love You!! Have a great week!
Love you!

Week 28- Aug 21
I am doing good! The week has been pretty good, we have been staying busy! work here is starting to pick up which is awesome! Yesterday was a good day, last night we had an entertaining family home evening with the Natters, they are a pretty sweet family. Davis their son did the lesson, and for the lesson we had to toss a ball around and tell the person we threw the ball to something we liked about them, it was pretty funny and he also danced and sang for us. He is a little stud! I got a video of it and I will send it home when my memory card is full. Yesterday afternoon we picked up a new investigator which was awesome, we are finally starting to teach more which is really good for me.
Friday and Saturday I was on exchanges with Elder Risk, my MTC companion. Saturday morning we went Mountain biking with some of his investigators which was a ton of fun! After Mountain biking we exchanged again, so it was an exchange inside of an exchange, and I went with one of the zone leaders because they needed my help fixing some sprinklers for a potential investigator. When they first met this lady she wasnt to nice with them and said she wasnt interested but they asked if she needed any help and she told them that her sprinklers hadnt worked for a good while and they said they could fix them. So we went over there Saturday morning and spent about 3 and 1/2 hours working on the sprinklers and while I was fixing them the companion I was with was talking with her and found out that she has brain cancer and has been struggling and he was prompted to ask if she wanted to receive a blessing when we were done. after we had finished we asked her if she would like one and she said yes. Right when I put my hands on her head she started to cry and feel the spirit, it was so strong it was an awesome experiance to be part of that blessing. after we gave the blessing we asked if she wanted to learn more and she said she had been thinking about that while we were fixing the sprinklers and she said she felt like she should learn so we set up a return appointment and they are going to back and have a lesson with her. It was a miracle day, It was a miracle that we were able to fix them. It was such an awesome experiance, I think that is why I stayed in Temecula another 6 weeks.
Tomorrow is zone conference so we will be heading down to Vista for that. Myself and 3 other elders in my district are singing in the meeting. Its going to be pretty interesting because I have never sang in front of people, I am kind of nervous, but it is going to good.
Tonight we are going to be a part of the mutual activity, we are making breakfast and the youth are going to play stump the Elder. They are going to be able to stump us pretty easy because I dont know to much, but it is still going to be fun!
Thursday night I taught my first lesson with out a companion, My companion was doing baptismal interviews and I was with a ward missionary, Brother Natter. It was pretty nerve raking, I didnt feel like I knew what I was doing but I just listened to the spirit and followed the lesson plan and it ended up working out great, It was pretty cool to be able to do that, I really enjoyed knowing that I can actually do it. I am pretty sure if I had to do that 6 months ago I would have struggled a lot more, so its really cool to see how much I have grown.

That is so awesome you guys went up to east canyon, has there been a lot of changes up there or is it pertty much the same? When does school start again? are you excited for it? Thats great to hear that grandpa is doing good. How long is he decommissioned? Yes that was a french word, Did you figure out what it means?
Hope you have a great week! Love You Mom!!

Week 27- Aug 14
Everything is going great! I am doing pretty well! That is so awesome you had a good birthday that is really good to hear! Yes I did getr my package thank you so much! I am Really anxious to know what President Cook has in store for me, but I have to wait 5 more weeks to find out. That is so crazy that whitney is getting married! And that is so crazy that dani got married! I cant believe it! Thats disappointing that it wasnt in the temple! That is awesome to hear that brit is moving home! That is so crazy that Grandpa has to have surgery! I hope everything goes well I will keep him in my prayers! I dont know when Jordyn is getting baptized.
Well this week has been a good week! Today was our temple trip so we went down to the San Diego Temple, That is such an awesome temple! It is so great to be able to go to the temple, I love it! This past week has been a pretty busy week. Since Elder Goble is the district leader every transfer he has to go on exchanges with all the Elders in the district so I get to go with their companions. It is a lot of fun to get to work with someone new for 24 hours. was on exchanges Sunday night to Monday night and also Friday night to Saturday night. We now have a new elder in our apartment. He is from Tahiti and he speaks french, It is pretty awesome! He was with me in my area Friday.
So this past we has been pretty uneventful but very busy, we actually taught a few lessons which was really good. Saturaday morning we had breakfast at the stake presidents house, like we do at the begining of every transfer. Its always fun to get together and talk about what needs to happen this transfer to see success. While we were at his house I found out that he grew up in Riverton so it was pretty cool to get to talk about Riverton with him. Sunday night we had SRG ( scripture reading group) with the youth like we do every Sunday night, but last night we had 2 non members there. After we read and discussed the chapter we were reading I was prompted to ask the youth if they knew what they were feeling and I told them that that was the Holy Ghost. And I guess after one of the non members left him and the guy he was with talked a little and he said that he felt it, he felt the holy ghost and he said he feels it when he prays. And last night we went out to their house and we taught him and ended up picking him up as an investigator which was really awesome! That girl we ended up dropping as an investigator but we are meeting with her tonight with the bishop and hopefully we can pick her up again. That is basically all the exciting thing that isgoing on here in Temecula! Thanks for everything Mom!! I Love You!! je t'aime

Week 26- August 7
Well . . . . I am not getting transferred, which is really weird. It is very uncommon to stay in your first area for more than 6 months and I have already been here for 6 months so I will be here for another 6 weeks which is really cool. I love this area it is so great! Sunday night I talked with President Cook on the phone and he asked me if I was dissappointed that I was staying and I told him no and hes said good because I need you there for one more transfer. He has something in store for me and I really want to know what it is, guess Ill just have to wait 6 weeks to find out.
I did not get the package, but I should be getting it tonight if you sent it to the mission office.
This week has been a really good week! We have been staying really busy! That girl that was going to get baptized basically dropped us and doesnt want to get baptized right now but she still wants to meet with us so hopefully we can still work with her. She got an email from her pastor the day we met with her and we think he gave her a ton of anti which is really annoying! We are just going to have to set things straight and get all of those misconceptions out of the way! This weekend the stake her was doing a thing called mini missions with the young men. So we had a priest come out with us every day. Friday we went on splits because we had 2 priests with us. That was the first time my whole mission so far that I havent had a missionary companion. It was really weird but it was a really cool experiance. Saturday we did a lot of service. We weeded and did demolition and clean up. It was a ton of fun! Yesterday we were out walking around trying to find people to teach in the heat and this guy pulled over and gave us water, and the guy wasnt even a member, and the dissapointing thing is was we were so takin back from it that we couldnt talk with him or anything but it was a pretty cool experiance. We havent been teaching very much which is pretty disappointing but we are doing our best, and everything is going great.
Thats so crazy that you didnt know about jordyn I heard from a letter I got from marci. Thats ridiculous that Jonathan is already in a relationship, but thats no surprise. Thats good that brit is moving home I think that would definitely be better for her. Thats ridiculous that dad has go to court, i cant believe that that happened that long ago it feels like it happened recently. Court sounds like tons of fun. Hmm. . . so you have a morning glory and weed problem. . . the best way to get rid of them is tons of water and fertilizer that is really the only thing I can think of. That is pretty funny! That is not good that grandpa tore his rotator cuff! That doesnt soud fun at all! That is so great to hear about wyatt! That makes me really happy! Thanks for everything mom!! I love you!

Week 25- July 31
That is so crazy about all the stuff that is going on back home! Thats cool that you guys liked him I bet it was a lot of fun having him there! Thats so crazy about all the stuff happening up in canada, that is really sad! Have you heard that Jordyn Cavanee is getting baptized?! Thats what I heard and I think that is so awesome!
So everything is going pretty well down here nothing real exciting happening, except we should be having a baptism on August 12 which will be really sweet! Next Tuesday is transfers, and I am probably going to be getting transfered. I am really nervous to see what is going to happen. But at the same time I am kind of excited! So that address that you usually send my stuff to probably wouldnt be good to send it to so that package if you want to send it to that address you should send it soon but if its not ready just send it to the mission office address because that would be the best! Thank you so much mom!!
Last week was a pretty good week! Yesterday we had a zone conference. It was really good we had some great trainings! Its always cool to get together as a big group of missionaries! Saturday was a long day of service! We did all sorts of the things! we did demolition and construcion clean up, weeding and we pulled out trees! it was pretty sweet! it was fun, because I have a ton of experiance with all of that stuff! That was really all the service we did! Wednesday I went on exchanges with elder norton it was pretty fun its always cool to learn new things from different people.
Last night was a pretty cool night. We were having a lesson with the girl that is going to be baptized, and we were setting up a calendar for all the things we still had to teach and we had her dad there who is not a member because we had to ask for permission basically, and while we were sitting there he basically bore his testimony to us. and after we had left we both had the thought that he is going to be baptized soon also, so we just need to pick him up as an investigator and teach him and he will be solid. It was a really cool night.

Week 24- July 24
HAPPY PIONEER DAY!!
This week has been a really busy week. We have done a lot of different things and it has been quite the adventure!
Thats so funny you are friends with sister eisenhut! That is a great family. Sister Eisenhuts son comes to a lot of lessons with us. Its really cool. He is a great kid! Thats so crazy that mason is leaving, where is he going? Thats awesome that the boys are enjoying my replacement. haha Its really cool that they get to do all of those cool things, That is quite the experiance. I totally forgot you were going to St.George! How was his mission president? Did you guys do anything else while you were down there? Thats cool that you are still running! You probably can run more than me now. Thats cool that everyone was there, that hasnt happened in a long time.
Yesterday was a busy day, we went out and did service on the tree farm, that is always tons of fun! But I definitely do not want to own 9000 trees, thats doesnt sound fun. Last night we fed the Eisenhuts horses that was pretty cool. Saturday we did service at another members house. Thats was really fun! I got to work on motorcycles and chainsaws, it ws a lot of fun taking them apart and fixing them. Friday was sure an adventure day. Friday night we helped Sister Eisenhut and another sister from the ward move a ton of stuff out of a storage unit. It was a lot of heavy lifting and I am still sore from it which is ridiculous. Other than that we have been trying to teach as much as possible.
We have 2 investigators right now and one wants to be baptized but its really hard to work with the parents schedules and the other one has really been hard to teach. We teach the second one about three times a week but when we sit down to teach her she just talks and talke and when we do teach she gets distracted so we are just doing our best and trying to teach her and help her understand. On Sunday we had both of our investigators at church and we also had a less active sister there that we just started teaching so hopefully we can continue to teach her and have her come to church. Everything has started to get better which is really good, and life is just great!
Love You!

Week 23- July 17
This past week has been pretty good, it has been a busy week. Everything is going pretty good, I am still starting to get used to my new companion, but we are getting along for the most part. Last night we went over to the carpenters and they told us all about seeing you guys, that was pretty cool. Sister carpenter showed us her year book with bre in it, it was pretty funny. Sunday night and most of the day yesterday I was on exchanges with the lone leaders, I went to their area, It was really awesome, because I finally got to meet the Dudleys, The people who are related to Jeff, it was way cool to meet them. Saturday we did service for a family that lives way out in the middle of no where, it was a lot of fun, we did a ton of weeding.
Last wednesday we were visiting some potential investigators and while we were visiting one, there was a guy in his garage across the street so we went and talked to him. When we walked up he was reading the bible, as we were talking with him we talked about our church and what we're doing and we also told him about the Book of Mormon and we ended up leaving one with him and he said he was going to read the whole thing. This guy was a golden contact, we will hopefully be meeting with hm sometime this week to talk with him more and hopefully pick him up as an investigator.
A couple Sundays ago in sacrament meeting a sister got up to say the closing prayer, and while she was praying she said bless the elders and she said elder blakelys name then forgot my name and she sat there for a second then in the prayer she said oh sorry and tried to say my name but she totally slottered it, it was pretty funny, but she was totally embarrassed.

Thast pretty awesome that you guys are going down to st george that sounds like its going to be tons of fun. I cant believ he is already done. Thats so crazy that you have an exchange student but thats probably really cool it sound like a lot of fun, you should get him a Book of Mormon in chinese, that would be pretty cool.
I dont think I need anything in a package right now, I think I am doing just fine. Thanks for everything mom! I love you! I hope you have a great week.

Week 22- July 10th
Hows California?! Thats so awesome you guys are down here. thats way awesome you went to dinner with the Antons, they are an awesome family! Sounds like this past little while has been good! Thats awesome that wyatt and austin are loosing weight, but its sad, because I think I am finding it. thats cool you got to see the smarts! I cant believe its already been a year since we went to canada, it feels like it was just yesterday. Wyatt did tell me about his plans, that sounds pretty cool I guess, its pretty interesting though. Thats so crazy that sister carpenter knows bre it really is a small world!
So why are you guys down here? vacation or for work? And did you fly on the private jet?
Well I am still struggling with the new companion change, its been really weird. Its really tough to get along, but I am trying my best! I have been on a lot of exchanges, because my companion is the district leader and he has to go with all the missionaries in the district. I am just trying to find the good and have a good time work hard and just forget about why we dont get along.
This past week we havent been to busy but we have been working hard. Saturday we did some service, we cleaned the church and we weeded at the antons, thats always fun. I love getting down and dirty and working hard like that.
wednesday was really weird it didnt feel like the forth of july at all. Wednesday night we basically crashed a bunch of bbqs which was pretty fun and on our way into the apartment we caught a glimps of some fire works which was really good because it made it feel more like the forth of july. Other than that Im just working hard and having fun! Thanks for that little care package. Have fun in california. I Love You!

Week 21- July 2
Hey Mom!
Well This week has sure been an adventure. It has probably been the hardest week so far. Its been a really tough change, and it still is but I'm getting there! My new companion is Elder Gobel from American Fork Utah. Hes a pretty cool guy, hes pretty obnoxious. Its been really hard trying to figure out how to work with a new companion, but I am slowly learning which is good. I am no longer the designated driver and thats pretty weird. Nothing to exciting happend this past week, just a lot of member visits and a lot of walking around talking to people and visiting less actives. I am going to be going on a lot of exchanges this transfer, since my companion is now the district leader. We havent done service for a little while now. which is pretty disappointing.
Sunday was a pretty weird day. It was pretty weird seeing Elder Blakely and his family! It was cool though. It was pretty funny, because you could totally tell that he wasnt a missionary anymore. I saw him a lot on sunday. i saw him at church, then at a members, then dinner, and then at srg ( scripture reading group ) Its something we started with the youth to get them excited about reading the Book of Mormon. Saturday we breakfast with the satke president which was pretty cool! Friday night there was a huge fire work show here in town, but I wasnt able to see it, because we had to be inside, but I did hear them. Thanks for the package! Its always great to get mail. The members that the mail goes to are out of town for 2 weeks so their mail is on hold so if you want to send me something before then send it to the mission office. They will be at Elder Blakelys homecoming so you definitely have to meet them. Happy 4th of July! Its going to be weird not seeing to many fire works, and not seeing any parades. Love you mom!! Thanks for everything! have fun in logan! Sorry the letter is so short!
Love You!!

Week 20- June 26
The week has been pretty good, it has been a really weird week, with Elder Blakely going home and all. I have not yet got a new companion but I will be tonight at four. I think it is going to be really weird! It will be reallly cool. I am not getting transfered so I will be in Temecula still. I am excited to stay here and actually have to run the area by my self, thats going to be a change!
Saturday was a really busy day! we did service all day basically, but it was really fun. We worked out on the tree farm again, and thats always a good time. we helped some members fix some sprinklers and some edging so that was fun since I know a little bit about it! We also helped another member move this ridiculously huge bbq island thing. the thing probably weighed 2000 pounds it took about 10 of us to move it from their front yard to back yard on furniture rollers. it was really obnoixious.
Friday one of our investigators left for texas and she wont be back until the end of august so thats a bummer, but thursday we picked up another new investigator so we will still be teaching a little bit. Thats really it for the week nohing else really to exciting. just trying to find people to teach, visiting members and just working away.
Sounds like you guys have been really busy. I cant believe all those people are getting married. Were the smarts at marissa's wedding? thats so crazy that bekah is already married! tell her congrats. I still wanna see the announcement. Thats so crazy that there has been fires. sounds like the heat is pretty exciting. It has been pretty warm here but I dont think it has gotten up to the hundreds yet. is it crazy having jim as bishop?
I love you hope you have a great week!

Letter from Brother Anton in the Pauba Ward in Temecula
Hello Blakely and Rindlisbacher Families,
This is Brother Scott Anton of the Pauba Ward in Temecula, California; and I have had the honor of and pleasure of meeting your sons and having them in our home many times over the past few months. It has been great to see each of them grow in their faith , both in the Church and in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know they came out into the field with a strong testimony but I have seen it grow and seen their hard work pay off, not only in baptisms, but in the pure respect and love that our ward has for your sons, they are truly wonderful and a blessing to our Ward Family.
I am a fairly sarcastic person and it is very seldom that both Missionaries are able to handle my sense of humor, but your sons are the exception to the rule. They are able to dish it back out when needed (and my kids love it), and they have helped our family actually enjoy the Missionary experience. We do not normally look forward to having the Missionaries over for dinner, but we have these past couple of months. My children enjoy the scriptural lessons your sons give and participate with them. My children are 18,16, 15, and 11, between seminary, church and our scripture study this is the last thing they want to hear. But they are always here when your sons come over, often invite friends and enjoy the conversation.
Today was a very special day in our house. My son Andrew went out on his first Missionary Discussion, he is 16, has a strong testimony of the church but has never shown an interest in participating, one of your boys said something to him that made him act on his testimony, and when they got home they told me he participated and did a great job with the soon to be convert. Of course I was very proud of my son for taking the trip, but was just as proud of your sons for taking him. They truly have been like an extension to our family, and I wanted to tell you how much we love them and thank you for sending them to us. I am a convert to the church, so I am always learning new things about the gospel, and they have taught me many things. In fact I have never written to our missionary families before, so that should tell you how much I enjoy the time I have with your sons.
My wife signed up to feed them today, Fathers Day, and they held a youth scripture study course at our home this evening, so we saw a lot of them today, it was an added blessing. I want to tell you we have a little standing joke. Whenever they go to other members homes for dinner the family is usually dressed nicely, if it is a Sunday usually still in church attire. But that is not the case at our house. We are casual, pajama pants and t-shirts, so I have been teasing the Elders that if they were going to have Fathers Day Dinner with us they are going to have to dress the part. So attached is a picture of the clothes we made them wear for dinner. They really enjoyed being able to relax a bit and eat some good Greek Food (I am Greek and I always try to get them to eat a variety of strange Greek Food) today we had Sofrito (Veal), Spanaki (Spinach with Feta) Rice and a Greek salad (but they put ranch dressing on it). All in all they ate good, not to heavy on the spinach, but it is an acquired taste.
We will be saying good bye to Elder Blakely next week and he will be missed, and we are praying that Elder Rindlisbacher will remain a little longer. We really love your boys and are grateful to you for allowing them to spend a short period of their lives with us, we have been blessed with their kindness, service and compassion, I hope you enjoy the picture and don’t get to mad at me for making them break dress code for a short period of time.
With all our Love,

Hey mom!
Thats awesome brother anton sent you an email. That family is so cool! howd you like the picture? pretty cool huh? did he tell you about how everytime we go to dinner at their house thay are always in pajamas? its awesome so he got us a pair to. They are a great family!
I am doing really good! this week has been really good! its been really busy. We have continued to teach rosi, and its really cool, she knows the church is true, and she told us that she knows that the catholic church is corrupt. its been a really great experience to get to teach her, she has so many questions. she will be leaving this friday to go to texas for the summer, but hopefully when she gets back she will be baptized. I think she will.
Sunday night we had another scripture reading group with the youth, Its been so cool to see the youth get excited about reading the Book of Mormon we are going to have it every sunday night hopefully.
Today has been a great day. We went golfing this morning. It was way cool. I love golfing. the course we played was pretty darn sweet. It was a good day for golf. I shot a 112 for 18 which isnt to bad, since I havent been in a little while. Brother Natter from the ward took us so it was great.
Saturday we did service for most of the day. It was really fun we washed windows, and we built a chicken coop. It was like a Hilton hotel for chickens, it was really fancy, but it was fun to make it. Thats basically been the excitment for the week. just a lot of visiting members and all that good fun stuff.
Sounds like you guys have had a good busy week. thats awesome that austins doing that im proud of him. Thats awesome that youre running to, just keep it up and itll get better.

Week 18- June 12th :)
No I dont need anymore scotcheroos, I still have a little bit. That is so Awesome that Jim is now the Bishop I totally called it. That Is a pretty cool Bishopric!
This week has been a pretty good week, We havent done to much service, but we have done quite a bit of teaching. I think we ended up teaching about 8 lessons last week, which is really good, because I need to work on my teaching skills, and the best way to do it is Just do it! so that was great. We picked up a new investigator, my first new investigator of my mission. Her husband is the one that was baptized in December and after all this has happened her heart is starting to soften and she is wanting to learn more. We gave her a El Libro De Mormon, because she is spanish and she said she was going to start reading it. She also wants to meet with us everyday so she can learn as much as possible before she leaves to Texas for the summer. She is great to teach, because she has so many great questions.
Sunday night we did a thing with the youth called SRG which stands for Scripture Reading Group. Its where all the youth get together and just read a chapter or two out of the Book of Mormon and talk about it and have treats. It was so cool, Sunday night we had about 30 youth there and it was such a cool experiance. The Spirit was so strong there and alot of the youth learned something new or had questions answered so it was just way neat!
Saturday we layed sod again, thats slways so much fun I just love it. We also went party hoping. a few families in the ward were having graduation parties and we got invited to all of them, because there was going to be none members there and they wanted us to talk with them and share the gosple, but we werent able to talk to very many, but it was pretty funny to get invited to parties as a missionary.
Yesterday we got to have interviews with the President. Its always so great to get to talk to him and his wife, they are such great people! This morning I was able to get my permanent crown put on, It feels so great! the dentist that did it is such a great guy!
If I still have that backpack that would be great if you could send it out, and anything else you would like to send me, but not to much candy I still have so much. other than that I dont think I really need anything.
Thanks for everything mom! Love You!! hope you have great week!
Love!

Week 17- June 5
Everything is going great, Just staying super busy! My tooths doing good I go back to the dentist to get the real crown next week. Yes I did get the package. Thank you so much!! There sure was a lot of pictures! There is definitely enough scotheroos to last a little bit.
Well This past week has been really busy! Nothing to exciting happened wendnesday, except we had lunch with a member who was in our ward before it split. and she sent you a picture.
Well This past week has been really busy! Nothing to exciting happened wendnesday, except we had lunch with a member who was in our ward before it split. and she sent you a picture.
Thursday was an extremely busy day, We did service out on one of our members farms and while we were out there we got a million phone calls from the ward saying that we needed to go help this other family, because they had to move out of their house that day. so we went out there and helped them move. I was basically in service clothes that whole day.
Friday was also a really busy day. We were supposed to be planning for our week, but that family needed help again. We went out there again and we bucked hay for 4 hours it was really fun I really enjoyed it, but that is definitely hard work.
Saturday we helped a young man in the ward out with his eagle scout project. While we were doing that there was a methodist chuch group there also doing service, so when we finished the eagle project we jumped in and started helping them out. It was pretty funny, because we posed for a lot of pictures for them and they also took a ton of us while we were just working, so Im pretty sure we ended up on their news letter or something like that. It was a really cool experiance, we also got a shirt from them so that was pretty cool.
Sunday night we went to seminary graduation, because we taught the class a few times. It was really cool, but its crazy how small it was. While I was there I was thinking about my seminary graduation and how many people were there and it was like 3 times as many as there was here. I also was thinking about how long ago that was! I have been graduated from seminary and school for a year now. Wow has time flown!! Thats all the exciting things that have happened this week.
So there is a family that just moved into our ward recently from san diego and we had dinner with them the other night. While we were eating dinner we started talking about utah and riverton and the salt lake valley and come to find out, this family had Corey Ipsen over for breakfast the first week of his mission. It was so funny to find that out, They really liked him.
Hopefully this week we will be picking up a new investigator. Her husband was baptized christmas eve and in the past couple months has mad some wrong decisions and left his wife, and fallen away from the church, but with all of this happening the church and the members here have rallied around her and supported her and helped her out and now she wants to learn more, so we will be teaching her Friday night. Its going to be really cool.
Thats cool that you are running. 2 miles isnt bad at all, I pretty much can only run 2 miles also with my ankle, so dont feel bad youll work into it. Thats so cool that austin wants to do cross country! Thats so crazy that jeremy johansen got his call, But its way cool! Tell him congrats from me, Please and thanks.Youre definitely going to have to let me know who the new bishop is. Im excited to find out. So do you guys have any fun exciting summer plans? scout camps? vacations? anything fun?
Thanks for everything! Love you Mom! I hope you have a good week!
So I have a challenge for the family, I want to challenge you to read the Book of Mormon as a family and finish it by the end of the year, I know that is completely possible you can finish it in 4 months by reading 5 pages a day. I know that by doing this the Lord will bless all of you, I know that, because I have seen it in my life. I started it February 16 and I have a goal to finish it by the 16 of this month and I have seen so many blessing come from me reading it every day. I know that you can do it.
Love you mom!
Love, Elder Rindlisbacher
