Week 54- Feb 19

Everything is going pretty well, we are still staying busy. This past week has been a good week. There have been a lot that has gone on. Thursday night we met with some former investigators and had a lesson with them and we ended up setting a baptismal date with them for the 23rd of march it was really cool, because we really didn't teach to much we just got to know them and talked a little bit about the Book of Mormon and they said that they like reading it more than the Bible. We are now going to be meeting with them every Thursday night. Sunday there was a Bishops youth fireside and the ward mission leader talked. He talked all about the youth doing missionary work so hopefully we see some good things come about from that.

We are still planning on having a baptism this Saturday with that young man, but there have been some concerns brought up from the ward that we need to figure out with the young man. It is going to be interesting, because they have to do with the word of wisdom. Hopefully everything gets resolved. Last night we had a lesson with him and the family he is living with who are less active and it was a pretty intense lesson. The friend of the young man basically got into an argument with his mom about beliefs and we brought up the 5th commandment which is honor thy father and thy mother and he felt disrespected so he left the room and the mom turned to the young man that is getting baptized and told him that he better be doing it for the right reason. We will be meeting with him today and we'll see what happens.

Sunday night we had dinner with a family in the ward that's vegetarian. It was really interesting. It was some black eyed pea thing on top of rice with fruit smoothie. Yes I did eat everything. It has been really interesting to see how I can eat more things now without gagging. Transfers are in a week from today so we will see what happens. We will find out on Saturday night, but I'm pretty sure I am staying.

Talking to Jonathan Blakely the other day was really interesting. Right when we answered the phone and started talking with him it brought back a ton of memories from Temecula. But it was cool. That's awesome that Wyatt went to sweet hearts did he have fun? That's good that he is liking work. That is so awesome that Austin is hanging out with the missionaries. That's so cool that Alex Boye is going to be there for mutual is it a stake thing? That's so crazy that Marci got her mission call. That would be a pretty cool mission. I still haven't gotten the package, I got an email from dad and I will do what I can to get it. That's awesome that the missionaries are meeting with that guy. How is that? Stake Conference sound like it was pretty cool. I have come to enjoy stake conference. That's awesome that you got a build a bear, but it would probably be best to keep it there, because it probably wouldn't come back. How is the Book of Mormon reading coming along?
