Week 76- July 23

This week has been great. We have working hard doing. We found out last week that The La Costa ward is going to be getting another set of missionaries this next transfer. We have been working on splitting the area and all that fun stuff. We have been looking for another apartment for those missionaries. It is incredible to see how much the work is going forward. The Del Mar zone is going to be getting 4 more sets of missionaries this next transfer. We are going to be going from 16 missionaries to 24 missionaries. Our mission is getting 24 missionaries from the MTC this next transfer and only 3 are going home. 10 wards in the mission are getting another set of missionaries because of this.
I have been on a couple of exchanges this past week. Friday to Saturday I was with one of the missionaries from the Spanish branch in my area, and Sunday to Monday I was with a missionary from the Carmel Valley ward and I was in his area. His area only has a car part time and while we were on exchanges we didn't have a car so we got to bike everywhere. Biking around showed how much I am out of shape which was pretty ridiculous. Its always fun going on exchanges because I always get to learn new things from other missionaries and we also see so many miracles. While I was in Carmel Valley we set up a return appointment with a potential family that we stopped by. That was really cool because the work down there has been pretty slow. It is also great because I get to help the missionaries with all the things they need and I get to know them a lot better.
We have been getting a lot of referrals lately. We are working on asking everyone we come in contact with if they know anyone that needs any help and it has been pretty cool to see all the people that we have been able to go by and try to help. Most of them say that they aren't interested but it is cool to actually get a little bit of direction. We were trained a couple weeks ago about the language that we use when we talk to people on the street and as we have been implementing it we have seen a lot of miracles. Instead of saying would you be interested we say would you be willing and a lot of people have said that we could come back. It has been really cool to see.
Saturday we did a lot of moving. We helped one family move out of one place and move into another place, and we also helped a family empty out a container. It is incredible to see how many people are always moving around here.
We weren't able to find any new investigators this past week but we are going to this week. We have a lot of potential investigators and a lot of people that said we could come back so we will be visiting them this week. We have some pretty cool contacts with people on the street tho. As we have been out and about we have been talking with everyone that we come in contact. The other night as we were walking to visit a potential we noticed a lady across the street watering her plants so we decided that we were going to go talk with her. We walked over and talked with her for just a minute and we invited her to meet with us and she said that she would and then she told us that she wasn't doing well. The gospel is going to bless her life. It was really cool to see how just talking to everyone we are finding the Elect.
Sounds like everything is going great! Sounds like that foreign exchange student is pretty cool. I don't think there is anything that I need. Whatever you send is great except not very much candy, I am trying to eat sweets less. Thank you for everything!  I Love You!!
Love, Elder RINDLISBACER
