This week has been great! We have been so busy preparing for transfers and the area split. It has been a lot of work but it has been great. I received the call Saturday night and I will be getting transferred tomorrow. I have no idea where I am going to be going. I am nervous but I am also excited. It is going to be really interesting to change but hey, that's part of the job. I will find out tomorrow at around 4 so In my email next week I will let you know where I have been sent. It is always tough to leave an area after a long time. It kind of feels like leaving home because I have built so many friendships. But I know the Lord needs me elsewhere.
Tomorrow this ward is getting another set of missionaries, so there will be 4 missionaries, 2 elders and 2 sisters. We have been doing a lot of preparation for them. We have been doing a lot of organizing so when they get here they can be most effective in their work as they try to get to know the area. It is going to be great to have another set here because there is so much ground to cover and it was hard to cover it all with just my companion and I. The work is going to explode here.
Sunday we had the monthly stake mission correlation meeting. We talked about the things going on here in the stake with the missionary work and what everyone is doing, and it was great to see how fired up everyone is to help the missionaries. There are a lot of great things happening here in the stake and I feel like we are going to be seeing results soon. It is great to have a stake president who is so focused on missionary work and getting everyone involved in it.
Thursday morning we did our studies with some priests from the ward. It was really cool because we did our companion study first and we studied how to have good studies and we helped them see the importance of it and how to do it, then we practiced it and we had our personal studies. It was pretty neat to see how much they learned from the short 2 hours we were with them.
We have seen so many little miracles here. We have talked with so many people who are willing to hear the message we share. We still haven't been able to teach any of them, so we haven't picked up any new investigators. But it has been so cool to see everyone that is and over the next couple weeks as the missionaries here get over to visit them the teaching here is going to increase so much. We have been doing a lot of finding. The members here have also been awesome. There are a lot of them that are working with people and preparing them to be taught. I cant believe how fast the work is going forward. It is so great to be a part of it. It is such a privilege.
Sounds like there are a lot of good things going on. That's awesome that Austin has been having fun. He is quite the world traveler. Did Austin make a kayak? . . That's awesome that they went fishing and they get to go again this weekend. Tell them to take a lot of good pictures and catch tons of fish. My leg is doing great it is basically all healed.
Thanks Mom! I Love you!!! I will let you know what happens tomorrow! Have a great week!
Love, Elder RINDLISBACHER
