Happy late St.Patricks Day!
This week has been a pretty good week. It has been busy like usual. I don't think there is ever time to stop. We have been doing a lot of exchanges, so I really haven't been in my own area to much this past week. On Sunday I actually didn't even go to the ward that I was supposed to because we were on exchanges. It is a lot of fun being on exchanges, because you get to see how other missionaries work and you get to help them. We have an awesome zone, there is a lot of great missionaries.
This week is going to be a great week. This upcoming Saturday we will be having 3 baptisms. It is a family, a father, son and daughter. The mom isn's interested right now, but she will come with time. I haven't even met her. This family has been investigating the church off and on for about 2 years. They were tracted into way back then. About a month ago, the Stake president who is really good friends with the father talked to him about the Priesthood and how he needs to recieve it to bless his family. A couple hours after they talked the Father called us and set up lessons for every Thursday night. We have taught them about 5 times. It is so great to see people being prepared.
Last week we were on exchanges and I was in my area, I was with one of the spanish missionaries. We were walking around visiting some former investigators and potential investigators. While we were walking around we set a goal to hand out the copy of the Book of Mormon that I had in my hand. We were walking around for about an hour and everyone that we talked to wasn't interested in having a free copy. We were almost back to the car and we hadn't given it out so we decided to say a prayer. We prayed and asked Heavenly Father to put someone in our path that was interested. After we prayed we noticed this lady walking down the road just past our car so we decided to go talk to her. While we were talking with her we found out that her husband was a member but wasn't active and that she was not a member. So we continued to talk with her and she was really interested in us coming by. It was an answer to our prayer. It is so incredible to see answers to prayers, especially that quick.
This past week we picked up 3 new investigators. 2 of them are a part member family. This family moved down here about 2 years ago from South Jordan, Utah. One of them graduated from Bingham the same year I graduated, and we know a couple of the same people. It is such a small world.
How is the Book of Mormon Reading?
Thanks for everything Mom! I hope you have a great wek. Love You Much!!
Love, Elder RINDLISBACHER
